I just got permission for some hay and pastureland near there but have never hunted in this area. Anybody have any suggestions, thanks, Johnny

I hunt 2 places that are about 2 or 3 miles from Ralph. Always first or second week in January in my experience. Probably should be ready the week after Christmas.

You're welcome. There are a lot of deer in the area depending on where you are. But as it has been everywhere else, it's been slow. My 13yr old daughter killed a spike the day before thanksgiving. That's the last deer I've seen while hunting. There's a lot of night activity and little day activity on the few game cams I have set up. Hopefully things will pick up soon. Good luck!

Pretty slow, not hitting the plots, need cold weather to bring them. Rut activity usually about Christmas and on.

Umm, no. It's on Highway 11 between Tuscaloosa and Eutaw. Had some ribs from Robertson's for supper.

You should definitely eat at Robertson's. I eat there with my daughter almost every time we hunt around there.
