Plz enlighten me ... Advantages/differences in 0.10 pin and 0.19 pin on an HHA sight?

I went to a single pin sight because my eyesight isn't the best and I could resolve it better. Anyone have a 0.10 and eyesight challenged that could enlighten me?

I am not eyesight challenged but I do shoot .010 and love them for targets but in the deer woods if you get in low light situations sometimes I find them to be lacking. I have a multi-pin sight and my first pin is .019 and the rest are .010. The first is also red which is the least bright. With it being bigger it has always been just fine but I wouldn't want a .010 and red.

I said all that to say this. If it is .010 and a bright bright pin you'll probably be fine but if it isn't all that bright you'll probably be wishing for a bigger pin.

I suppose a light kit would help no?

If you have bad eyesight, you better look at someone else's .10 before you buy one. They are tiny! I have one on my bow that you are welcome to check out. Mine is green and yes, a light kit makes a difference.

I would prob go .019 if I had bad eye sight. I have pretty good eye sight and I didn't like .010 in the woods.

I shoot a .019 HHA right now. It's bright enough for me. Before that, I loved .029 for a hunting application. To me the .029 is like the heavy duplex in a scope. To your point, I'd buy the .019, at least.

Get the hha in a .010 with 6 foot green fiber wrap and the rheostat. I wasn't sure if I would be able to see mine well in the woods but it is almost too bright at times. I will probably never shoot a .019 again. I am so much more accurate with the smaller pin. You won't need a light either. I can open my rheostat up all the way and see my pin in the moonlight on a dim night.

As long as you aren't shooting them at 50yards+ the .19 would probably serve you well, especially with vision problems. I have found a light not all that helpful, due to it making my target hard to see past the lighted pin.

Thanks Foldemup! He met me out at Goldsmith Schiffman Wildlife Preserve one morning at sunup and let me try his 0.10 sight. I liked it, I bought it (Kingpin 0.10 plus light kit), and I am glad I did. This is the perfect solution for me. I can see it very well. The old 0.19 sight blurred the target it was so big, this 0.10 doesn't

^ thats what I'm talking about. I have seen a lot of .010 sights that I couldn't see but the hha is awesome
