These grow every year on my property in the same place. as it matures there will be a decent bean type pod. also when flowers appear they are little and yellow.

Im looking at whats online about it. it has just interested me for a while because of the way it grows every year.. I guess from reseeding when the pods fall to the ground??

Seeds are can be eaten by quail but not often nor preferred. The plant is hepatotoxic or toxic to the liver of some livestock and humans.

It is a legume though.

Yea from what I'm reading now the only benefit is to the soil I guess

My biggest problem was trying to figure out how to spell it.

The seeds are TOXIC to quail but they won't eat it unless forcefed.

Those seeds will kill a chicken grave yard dead.
