Pour a gallon of clorox in it. I got frustrated last year and did it and it fixed it right up.

Here's what I did this year.
-Got all leaves out first.
-LOTS of shock.
-put pump on circulate not filter
-When it turns light brown
-brush everything
-put sinking agent in (read the bottle)
-then vacuum to waste.
Spent very little this year and it looks great.
Good luck!

Mine was easy this year. I gave a guy $3K and he put a new liner in it and had everything up an running while I was out of town. Easiest opening yet. Physically...
