Is that the hand you were pulling the trigger with when the gun blew up? If so I can't imagine how you felt and hate that that happened to you. I sure hope it heals as well as it can and you get better soon so you can enjoy the outdoors like you used to.

I severely broke my hand once and about went crazy not being able to use it for 2 months. I cant imagine what you are dealing with.

Rock 3 point Joined: Oct 2014 Posts: 129 Alabama	Thanks for saying that about my hand makes me feel a little better.ive been going through pure hell for the last 3 years. only had one other broken bone in my bodie..I broke my left shoulder 3 times 1st time 2006,2007,2009.that is what makes my right hand even worse.my body had already built up such a high tolerance to pain medicine . when this happened to my right hand they couldn,the give me enough medicine to stop the pain. I have had 2 18 hour surgeries on my hand last was 2013. After that I had a pain management doctor load me up on so much medicine that almost killed me. i have been to Bradford 2 times trying to come off of the medicine. but my accident was in march 2012 and my hand still hurt,so even worse today. I'm back on heavy medication but at least I know not to take to much .I'm gonna try to find a orthopedic, to look at my hand to see if he or she can do another surgery. The only thing I'm scared they might mess up the wrong nerve were I won't have use of my hand.if it come down to they cat fix it were the pain will lesson ,I just will deal with the patn.because I won't let nobody cut the rest of my hand off to solve pain issues. I,very been through too much to keep what like have left of it. I still shoot a mattew,so helium 64 pound bow ica do anything I want to do.But it hurts like have it setting it on a train track. Please everyone that will pray for me.&good huntin

This might sound crazy to ask but have you considered maybe letting them amputate a little higher up so they can do better repairs to maybe relieve some of your pain? I completely understand wanting to keep what you have left but if your going to have to stay loaded up on pain meds like that in order to function then you may want to consider some other options. Also might want to consider hunting with someone when you go. I imagine it may not be too safe for you to be on that much pain meds and out in the woods. I hate your having to deal with all of that.

But I won't let nobody cut the rest of my hand off as far as medication affecting my hunting I'm so used to it it really don't affect me I do most of my hunting in shooting houses or ground tents. Man I don't care how careful you are your life can end or change in less than a blink of a eye god bless

Longest sentence I've ever read.
