Anyone ever hunt bear hollow mountain WMA? I think I posted about it a couple years ago but never got around to going. Planning a trip between Christmas and new years for a several days. I know someone with a couple acres down the ways from it, and they got some decent ones that cruise by but I don’t hear much about the WMA itself

Never hunted it for deer. The season just closes too friggin early in TN, with the rut peak not even there yet on Bear Hollow when it closes.

Thanks all, I think I might give it a try this upcoming weekend for muzzleloader. Was going to scout this weekend but didn’t realize it was their opener for smoke poles.

I drive through it on my way to and from work. I see deer regularly off the road and have seen a couple good bucks (both January of this year). Got a friend who turkey hunts it and says there are some good deer there.
