Joined a club in S.East Georgia. Here in E. Central Alabama the opening weekend is fair to middlin'.....shooting the local birds. After that it gets really poor as there is very little row crop farming and a lot of the old row crop fields are in pines now. Once it gets colder in December you won't see any. They actually get migratory birds down there in December and January. I haven't shot a winter Dove in probably 35 years. We'll See.

Good luck with it! I have always enjoyed those last season shoots, though I haven't been on one in a while.

My experience with late season is big fat birds that wanna eat and come in with a purpose. Easy to shoot em like ducks.
