I try to grow something new every year and candy roasters where the flavor this summer. Planted in chicken litter turned under in early February. The plant and fruit grew twice the size I thought they would. The main runners are over 20 ft long. The heat and beatles killed them over the last week but luckily everything vine riped before got too bad. They have a great flavor sort of like a sweeter pumpkin. ![[Linked Image]](https://i.postimg.cc/Y2Y7NXyK/17188150070314789006307050123405.jpg)

Split them in half and bake face down for about an hour or cook them like yellow squash.
