I’ve seen several bachelor groups of bucks with velvet 3-4” above the hairline. They’ve had a pretty easy transition from winter to spring with adequate moisture. I hope it continues through mid summer. There’s plenty of food on the table at the moment.

I have seen several does that look like they are pregnant and in good health browsing, they are hitting the mineral sites pretty hard right now.....

Already saw one small buck in my yard with about 4” of growth. My backyard doe group has kind of split up so thinking they ought to start dropping soon. It is definitely wild how varied the fawning season is between SC and AL.
