so here is the deal.. A week an a half ago i started putting out corn. well since then i believe i have drawn every deer from 3 miles away. this morning i was slipping to my saddle set up just after daylight, cell phone goes off and there are 2 mature 8's on cam 40 yards from tree. had to sit in middle of the road for 2 hrs until they left. get up in tree and between 815 and 1130 see 5 deer feeding on corn, get down slip out . well tonight its all hell in the bait area. i have had 4 additional shooters show up tonight alone. majority of the corn is gone and i need to replenish it. when do you think would be a good time to do this.. i work this weekend so no hunting for me. only problem is there can and are deer there at any given time.. its not in a feeder just spread out

Ive looked at all time stamps i can and there is usually a gap in activity from 9is till 10ish but that can change, im just going to go in and when i get close ill check to see if there is anything there. if not then ill proceed only thing is this is in some nasty thick stuff surrounding it and they like to bust me when i least expect it.

I would forget the saddle, wait till day break and a good wind and slip hunt my way in. When you get to a spot, sit on the ground.

Personally, i wouldnt get all up in the air about spooking deer. Just ease in there whenever you can, pour out the corn and leave. You might besurprised to see a deer was there 5min before you got there and returned 5min after you left. Itll get to where theyre glad to see you coming and show back up at the pile soon after you leave. Theyll figure out whats up pretty quick

IMO, it doesn't really matter. At some point the deer become accustomed to hearing the ATV/UTV/Vehicle and realize that food is being put out. I've literally been gone one hour with the vehicle and had racked bucks show up at the pile to eat. I'm sure there are exceptions, but that's been my experience.

The atv thing makes me laugh because if I take ours to hunt they are skeptic but if I use it to feed they hear it come and go and they’ll show up in no time.

I can go fill my feeders and before l get back to camp there in it.
And it does not matter what time I go.
I stand in back of my buggy to fill them.

How much are you putting out at once? Cover as much area as you can by throwing the corn which may keep them from cleaning it up so fast.
