I am planing on going. It will be my first bow shoot since I was 16 shooting a recurve at the old bow range near Lake Purdy. I hope that I don't embarrass myself or anyone associated with Aldeer. LOL I hope I remember not to shoot the owls on the fence.
Seriously I hope some of the bow guys come because I am sure I will have a lot of questions.

I'm planning on getting there early. If I finish in time I plan on going to shoot at sportsmans outpost in waverly. Judge let me know what time youre going and maybe we can shoot together.

At this point I don't know what time I will shoot, I am free all day. I am not sure how this works so I had planed to be there at 8:00 to watch and to find out about signing up for squads etc? Mr. Sluggun I would be proud to shoot with you if we can fix a time. Do you choose a time when you sign up or are you given one? I remember when I shot skeet, we would sign up early and wait until our squad was called. In the mean time we drank coffee, talked foot ball and criticized other guys shooting.

You just show up, pay your entry fee, shoot a few practice shots if you want and find someone to shoot with. usually you go out in groups of 3 or 4 to a group. This shoot is mostly a get ready for bow season shoot. Its all about having fun. Bring your binos, rangefinder and hunting bow. Its going to be like shooting in the back yard you just get to shoot up someone elses targets. I plan on getting there about 7:30 am if nothing happens.

I'm thinking about coming by judge. You can't be any worse than me.
So a rangefinder could be used on this?

Depending on which class you shoot you can use a rangefinder. If you shoot for fun you can shoot from whereever you want with whatever equipment you want
