I am a Christian first & foremost because of the sacrifice Jesus Christ made for me on the cross at Calvary but am a member of a Southern Baptist church as far as denomination goes.

Born and raised in the Methodist church. Wife raised in the Church of Christ. We split the difference and go to a Baptist church.

Brought up as Baptist (very loosely), married a Catholic and met in the middle - Methodist for about 8 years. I told my wife I didn't care about denominations - they all seem to have some saints and some hypocrites. I just wanted to attend a church that preached from the Bible. We have been very happy in a non denominational church (Bay Community Church) for the past 6 or 7 years. I can't imagine going anywhere else.

I was raised Catholic now I am Southern Baptist BUT.... When people ask what denomination I am I simply tell them that denominations are not important, I am a follower of Jesus Christ.

Non denominational, The Solid Rock in Haleyville Alabama.
We are all to be the Body of Christ. We are all one body. The denomination doesn't matter. Look for a group who uplifts Jesus as the only means of salvation and justification before God, and has love for one another, and others.
