I bought my arrow saw many years ago. But if you can rig a dremel tool to cut and maintain that cut 90 degrees clear through the shaft, you should be fine. Cutting carbons, right? If alum, a tubing cutter will work just fine.

I have an arrow saw I bought. A friend who is an electrician looked at it and said it was just a sewing machine motor. I can see where a dremel would work too.

Been using a dremmel for years. Made a jig with some 1x4s and clamp dremmel solid. Drilled a hole just big enough for the nock in the back board. Really simple contraption, and it works great.

I use the Roto Zip....... It was a gift from the in-laws many years ago.... I shoot Beman carbon and it takes a high speed saw to cut them.... I cut all my arrows and have been for years ever since I got this thing..... Works great....and I love it.....never had any problems....

If you can, post a picture of your set up. I would like to see it.

This little feller right here will take care of all your arrow cuttin. I've been using one for about 6 years now and it works great.

This thread on Archery Talk will give you an idea of how to build it. Mine isn't anywhere near as Hi tech as his.
