I was brought up church of Christ. But I don't believe we need denominations. Christ made one body, one church. Not 300 different denominations.
Different strokes for different folks. We've all got our particular likes, dislikes, talents and needs. When it comes to core beliefs, I think most Christian churches are much closer than they realize. I know I'm different being Catholic, but I believe Jesus is the Son of God, and we can only get to heaven through His Blood that He shed for us.
