I have had one for about ten months. So far I really like it. here is a example of three shots where I wouldn't have got the deer in the pic on a single shot.

That's a cool pic!

Can you change a setting to make it shoot just the middle frame? Or is it panoramic all the time? Seems pretty useful to run panoramic for fields or open areas, but have the option to run it "normal" for trails, feeders, and stuff.

I've had one for a year. It's great for open areas like the above pic but I wouldn't recommend it for wooded/brushy areas. It can't be set to one direction. It constantly monitors all 3 zones. It can be set to take a single pic in the zone triggered but it monitors all 3 zones like I already said. Therefore there is a large area to be made "trigger free" from the wind blowing stuff around. Imagine an area spanning 150 degrees in front of your camera set out to 50 ft that will be your trigger zone. Hope this helps.

I'm glad to hear yall like your's. I got one about a month back but havent had a chance to get it put out yet and was just wondering if anyone has used one yet because there's not a whole lot of user reviews. And about it being noisey, you can hold it in your hands and it take a picture and i cant hear it go off.

In a field the panoramic is really good. In the woods, I set it on single frame though it will still monitor all 3 areas it will take a picture in only one of the areas where the movement is, rather than all three. This helps on battery life if you are using it on a feeder too. Good camera though and have enjoyed mine.
