I prefer to shoot sitting down if at all possible. I had to stand and shoot 2 of the six deer I killed with my bow last year. I feel more comfortable shooting them while sitting for some reason.
I always use an EZhanger to hang my bow on.
I change the blades on my broadhead every time I kill a deer with them.
I use my rangefinder as soon as I get in the tree to range my surroundings but I keep it real close at hand just in case I am unsure when a deer steps out.
I keep a constant check on the wind direction.
