Was the Alabama tax part included in the sales of the Tennessee and Mississippi 4 wheelers, or did anyone have to pay Alabama taxes after the sale?
Just curious as I've never bought out of state other than farm auctions.

Same think happened to me after I bought mine in Chattanooga. it was about three years later and got a tax bill from Alabama tax Dept for taxes due of about $125. Had it checked out made a few phone calls and was told it was legitimate. Sent in a check.
Welllllllll....years ago I bought a Yamaha in Mississippi and paid no Alabama tax. A couple of years went by and the place got raided by the feds. I got a bill for 198 dollars from the State wanting tax for the 4 wheeler I bought. I sent them a check.....
