How far do you put the 10' pole in the ground and how far do you put your stake in the ground? This is interesting. I may try it. Thanks.

The 10' pole gets ratchet strapped to the center of your bottom band of the stand on opposite sides. The stake goes in the ground at a angle about two feet and about 8-10' from the holes you dug for the legs that are closest to the stake, if that makes any sense to you. One eye bolt goes in the center of the stand and the other two in each corner that is laying towards the ground. Those bottom two eye bolts get a rope tied to them and are used guides by the other two people that helping you stand up the stand and to ease the stand does not come down hard. This is how they use to stand up windmill stands back in the day before vehicles and heavy equipment.
