Droptine, were you one of the UA fans that this time last year, you would have laughed if an AU fan would have suggested a close game between AU & UA? According to most UA fans, "luck" would never be a factor in the 2013 Iron Bowl. It wasn't luck. It was, as exemplified the entire game, superior coaching and playing your ass off by AU. AU stuffed UA when it needed to and actually, the game could have gone either way. UA couldn't get a yard when it needed to! With the best back and best OL in America?

Did the most "talented" team win last year? Absolutely not. Did the best team win? Yes, I think so. Also, the best coached team won, which I know really hurts down deep.

Was it luck when Alabama had to come from behind in Auburn in what, 2009 or 2007 to beat AU? No, UA drove the ball down field and did what it needed to do to win the game at the end of the 4th qtr. I'm just not so delusional to call it luck at the end of that game.
