The only reason Auburn fans are mad at Phil is because they know he is right. That, and it chaps their ass to come so close after so many lucky plays only to have it snatched away from them at the last "second". It is truly hilarious and so ironic.
And YES, last season was lucky as hell for Auburn. It wasn't just the lucky play against Alabama. It was an even luckier play against Georgia and let's not forget the last second win against the mighty Mississippi State Bulldogs.
Stop pretending that you have built some kind of powerhouse. When you actually build a PROGRAM, I'll listen to you. But Auburn has always been and will always be built around individual players and a rabbit's foot. And deep down, you know it.
Let us know when you win 3 National Championships in 4 years. Let us know when you win an Iron Bowl 49-0. Let us know when you BLOW OUT your competition in a National Championship game. Let us know when you sign a #1 ranked class. Let us know when you are the most feared team in the country.
