Bama also hadn't just won a National Championship 2 years prior to 2008. They also hadn't had top-10 recruiting classes for the last 5 years when Saban went undefeated in 2008. They had gone 16 years without a championship and were coming off a season where they didn't have a single player drafted into the NFL.
It really bothers you bad for such an inferior, insignificant team to kick Bama's butt on a regular basis...AND IT SHOWS!!!
