I just read that auburn has painted the track of Chris Davis " kick six" on the field for the big recruiting weekend. Surely this isn't true??? What's the recruiting pitch, " we don't win many national championships but come to auburn and you might be part of a miracle win too"!!!
Don't get me wrong auburn fans should be proud of the win, I just don't understand the recruiting tactic.

its a gimmick that will be one of the greatest endings in CFB history along with "the band is on the field"
I really don't see why anyone would go to Allbarn, it's a tiny town that you miss if you blink that the fanbase is full of little brother syndrome like the clown college in Tallahassee

I for the life of me can't figure out why one would go to school at bammer. Full of preppy little entitled city kids that couldn't fend for themselves if they had to.

I for the life of me can't figure out why one would go to school at bammer. Full of preppy little entitled city kids that couldn't fend for themselves if they had to. fiance went there because her dad was a dean and it was 1/2 off in state tuition. Plus cow breading 101 wasn't mandatory to graduate

Bama was going to do something similar to let recruits remember the last time the Iron Bowl was in Tuscaloosa. The tracks were just too long. That's what happens when you win 49-0!!!!!!
It was decided that it made more sense to hang the back-to-back national championship banners instead�..

They went 12-2 with a heart breaking lose in the NC game.
Alabama went 11-2 with a blowout lose in their bowl game....

It wasn't for me because of your aforementioned rich spoiled kids and frat boys. What's funny is I have spent more time on campus and in class than 80% of alabama's fanbase. Hell during homecoming weekend one of Shaws distant family members were walking the halls on Lloyd hall making a big ruckus on homecoming weekend, the professor went out the door to see what the hell was going on and this huge chick with bama sweat pants on that smelled to high heaven and her equally fat and smelly husband/cousin/brother that had a the amount of teeth that Bama claims for national titles combined were hollering "wow this is soo purdy, best honey moon ever" I nearly died laughing, it was awesome. Then you got guys on tv getting arrested for meth saying "i'm innocent, roll tide" lol Bama fans have an endless stream of comedy. Hell UA will be more of a Yankee school in a couple of years here soon. So many kids from Chitcago and NY here now it's not even funny

No doubt they lost a game that everyone claimed they didn't have a chance in the world at winning but if you want to talk about a choke job we can do that. Explain Bama's choke job in the Iron Bowl. Remember Auburn didn't even belong on the same field with them according to Bama fans. Then explain Bama's 14 pt loss to Oklahoma in the Sugar Bowl. They were a 17 pt favorite and loss by 14....on top of that, Ok had a 1st time starting freshman at quarterback and 2 of their offenses key players. I hate to know how ugly it would have been if they would have played....

I think bama was the big loser this past year. I'd rather have low expectations and exceed instead of have high expectations and be a failure!

Ol Lane has already set that standard...saying they have the best running backs in the NFL and college combined.... At this rate there should be a three way tie for Heisman with all three RB's from Bama taking it home.... Can they give three Heismans away at the same ceremony..... Maybe Lane is making the other two himself......I'm sure he will have the other two ready at the presentation ceremony......
