I've had one about 10 years. It was advertised at 12 lbs but actually weighs 14. Its still lighter than anything else available at the time. Its not the most comfortable stand I own, but everything is a compromise in tree stands.
On slick hardwoods, it is a death trap. I only climb pines or white oaks with it now. Don't dare get into that thing without wearing a harness.
If I could own just one stand I would buy something else, but there are times I have a long walk and I'm glad I have it.
