Once again, I will say this and I am done. The DOJ cannot remove a state court conviction. They can't remove a federal conviction. They have no ability to remove a conviction. Only a court of law can do so and the DOJ is not a court of law. In Alabama there is NO WAY to remove a conviction from your record.

If this was in anyway possible, do you really thing that every lawyer in the world would not know it? Who would keep a YO on their record if it was possible?

On the record it had them being convicted of the original charges and the upgraded charges. The doj removed them convictions. Because they were inly convicted of y.o.

This is a good story....too bad its only half of it, or totally fabricated to take a jab at GW's.

We now have a new attorney, who I feel has our best interest at heart.

We have filed a motion for a new trial and are awaiting the Judges ruling.

I can understand how you could think this is only half the story or a fabrication.... I truly wish it was.... unfortunantely it something we have been dealing with for over a year.

I have nothing but respect for Game Wardens and all Law Enforcemnt but like any other profession there are some bad ones.

Also, let me remind you that this man is NOT AN ACTIVE GAME WARDEN, nor any other type of law enforcement.

I will not post case numbers as this is an active case and would not want to do anything to jeopardize it.

I will be happy to keep everyone posted as things progress.

Not knowing who the Game Warden is, I am going to make an educated guess. I saw where someone had asked for his name, but I could have overlooked the response. I am betting his name is Rusty Marlowe.If so, back when he was a game warden he would have given his own mother a ticket for having one bird over the limit during dove season. Even though she could not count.

What I get from reading that is they probably shot the gun and then cleaned it at the cabin but there is no proof and should not have been a conviction in an open honest courtroom.

Thanks for taking the time to read it. The only person who had a gun cleaning kit in their vehicle was Mr. Morrow, as he testified to. He also stated that he was there the entire time with them and never left.

I think from reading this that that was a kangaroo court and that should be appealed to the highest court. Lack of evidence even if they did fire it. This is a shame in my eyes. I hope that the boys get exonerated quickly.

I just read all of it. I personally think it is BS, finding them guilty, sounds to me like some dirty ole buddy, ole pal crap, between sheriff, deputy's, and ex-Game warden. I would be highly pissed. I promise you If I done the same thing at my place with someone off suspicion, I would get laughed at for even calling police. It wasn't any of that lawyer business what, they had done the day before or was going to do the day after. I say it BS and it pissed me off just reading it..

Maybe jchan was the judge.
