Does Remington still make these rifles ?
Yes, they do. Remington Sendero SF II is the rifle. SF stands for stainless & fluted.
I own one in .300 RUM and by far it is my favorite rifle in my gun safe. I have mine set up with a Kahles Helia C 3-12 x 56 mm scope, Leupold base & rings. It is my long range rifle and it will shoot 1/2" groups all day long.
If I had to get rid of every rifle I owned except one, the Sendero would be sitting in the safe by itself!
