How long did it take to get that big? Will Chicksaw Plums grow in red clay soil?
These are about 6 years old but they've been producing since year 2 or 3. If you give them plenty of sun then they grow really fast and produce prolifically. They are very easy to grow too. Not 100% sure but I'd imagine you could grow them in a variety of different soil types.
