Nobody on here is saying they are not the most dangerous. They are but not all pittbulls are bred to be crazy. The majoity of crazy pits is because of owners breeding them to close and not out crossing. Which some do on purpose to create aggressive fighting dogs. But if I haven't learned anything else from this forum it is that all of us Pitt owners have a special place in hell according to most on here

Maybe i will be OK since i got rid of mine 10 years ago. Yes thats right. I know its hard to beleive, i had pitbulls. They were some of the MOST game pittbulls around. I have been on James Crenshaws yard. May he rest in peace. I had some off the badest Jeep/Whitestab dogs around. Shocking isnt it! Dogs that came from Rells Barrel, Chans Noble, Frog, and owned Tigge 2. These Jeep dogs had a 7th generation petigree like no other, but they were dangerous as a load gun. Their was not a house with in 1/2 mile of my kennel. I got ride of all of them when my lawyer told me it would hurt my chances of full custody of my daughter. My whole point is you can own them, but you need to be living in the deep woods away from people. These lines of hog dogs have a deep breed agression that may lie dormit for almosr for ever. Ever been bite by one? I have and i was by accident, feeding and playing with one! They have the ability to break a bone quickly. I still carry the scar. They are dangerous, it the proper steps arent taken.

Its going to be a long and boring wait.
I have already told you that information.

You lost at the numbers game so just suck it up and move on.

What got this all started was this statement by me " "It" hasn't killed anybody. Most Pits don't."

To which you responded, "Most pits dont kill anyone my ass! What hole have you had your head in? Look up the numbers and the pit is #1".

I stand by my statement that the dog in question has not killed or attacked anyone. Most of the estimated 2-8 million Pit Bull dogs living in the US haven't killed or attacked anyone. In fact on a yearly average of 31.5 fatal attacks, 65% were caused by Pit Bulls, that comes to 20.475 Pit Bull related Fatal attacks. Using the lowest number in the estimated Pit Bulls living in the US that is about 20 out of 2,000,000 hardly MOST Pit Bulls. In fact not even close.
These are all numbers quoted by you or from YOUR website, Dogbite.org.

Now what level of mathematical education you have is unclear to me but what is clear to me is the comprehension of math results seems to be causing you trouble.

Not that it is any of your Business, I don't own any pitbulls. But, now that you have asked I have in the past owned american bulldogs. It is not just this, but everybody's answer is kill the dog . I would not chain a dog in the first place, but if I knew one of you bad asses killed my dog , and it had done nothing. I guarantee you would be sorry. It makes me ashamed to be from Alabama sometimes, there are some real ignorant people here, no I take that back, ignorant can be fixed. Stupid is forever. i would be worried about some of you people being allowed to have a gun.

I am just saying, if it gets that far, and I pull one, that is my last option, I will feel as if I have no other choice. I won't pull it to scare somebody, I plan on using it.

You show up in this thread and now with 19 posts 30% of 'em are defending Pitt Bulls. How many of these unpredictable savage bastards do you have?

I was never looking for one that kills more. that is your hard on not mine.

I did explain the numbers game in the edit. I am done with you on this.
It is nothing personal towards you as you are trying to make it out to be with me. simple math. get a calculator and do it your self. If the results come up different then post it up.

If I moved in your neighborhood , and had a pit inside a chain link fence . you had better mind your own business. As not having any contact with you, I would consider that a plus. You are to narrow minded to carry on an intelligent conversation with. Nothing personal , but I would not give a shi# if you ever had any contact or not. By the way I am tired of wasting my time on this thread ,say what you want I am sure I won't lose any sleep over it.

He dosent care for pitbull, i respect that! I use to own some and I wouldnt allow anyone to move next door to my kids with one chain-up either. They are dangerous aniamals. I still carry a scare from one! They make people nervous. I wouldnt like them next door to me either.

He may not care for Pit bulls and I also respect that, however advocating going onto someone elses property and shooting or poisoning a chained up dog of any breed especially when the dog has done nothing but breathe and bark is especially low life. Chain any dog up and I guarantee you he'll bark at you when you walk by.

If the dog bothers you in your own yard or in the street, then by all means, dispatch said dog immediately.

Otherwise man up and talk to the dog owner and then follow proper procedure and be a good neighbor as you expect out of him. If no satisfactory results are reached then get together with the other neighborhood property owners and start an HOA and specify No Pit Bulls in the covenants.

I does seem to escape those who advocate killing all Pitts onsite no mater where they are that those Pit Bull owners may just own a firearm too and mabe they are just a little more accurate and faster than you may be.
Just as you would, They would almost certainly be highly concerned by some numbnut walking around their yard shooting at their dogs and who knows what else.
