Best pool is the one your friend owns!
I've had both and I will say the Above ground was easier but it requires more maintenance to keep metal parts clean now that we went to the salt water chlorination. Still have alot of rust on the "T" posts and liner supports at the overflow scuppers and will have to replace several at seasons end, maybe sooner.
