Ya'll notice I said a decent/good trigger. I did NOT say light.
I disagree with the 1.5-2 pound trigger on a deer hunting rifle. There is no need for such a light trigger. If the trigger has no creep and minimal travel 4 pounds is plenty light enough.
very cold weather, gloves, cold fingers and light triggers do not go well together.
Pawpaw Troy is right here. 3.5lbs is the lowest I will go on a hunting rifle. Just make sure no creep and no over travel.
