Just out of curiosity why are you leaving a small child alone in the front yard?
Well, it is their yard. May not be a busy street? May be a decent neighborhood? Mom may be there w/ the screen door shut? How "small" is the child? Heck, reckon once i got to k'garten age...i headed out the door every morning without mamma holdin my hand? Maybe younger than that? Them years is kinda foggy in my old mind!
