Spend $200 on a gun, and $500 on a scope,instead of the other way around. Don't skimp on mounts either. Your only as accurate as your optics.
I couldn't agree more. My Dad always said a rifle is on as good as the scope that's on it. I am a firm believer in that.
Even though I don't get to shoot much, I'm an accuracy fan. I also like dependability. I have found both with Tikka T3 Lite rifles. Not the least expensive, yet not as pricy as some. A good middle of the road rifle that gives me the two things I like in a rifle.
Tikka's are dang fine rifles. Smooth action, very accurate, great trigger and they are very well balanced. My favorite deer rifle is my tikka 243.
