Honestly , jibuc10 i cant answer that correctly. I mainly trap for cattle men ,game managers, and biologist. Im sorry i dont have an answer for you on the birds,rabbits,and squirrells. I would think that buy taking out coyotes it would help the other aniamals have a better chance to make it? Yes you can lower the number of coyotes, but its hard. You must take out 80%, to help the deer fawn recriitment. It you take out 50 and thats your 80% , next year 40 might come back. Then 30 the next year and so on. Studys i have read about talk about 80% for 5 years then you just run what i call a mantaince line of traps to catch the straglers.
