They weren't trying to be disrespectful. Only a couple of other officers had arrived at the scene and they were busy trying to save those they could save. As horrible a sight as it was, they did the right thing concentrating on trying to save the ones that could be saved.
I've been to couple of horrible scenes with some friends before.And they took there jackets off their own backs to cover their faces.That's all I meant..
