You're entertaining Phil Army. I'm grinin'. Folks like you make beating Bama a lot more enjoyable!

IF, Auburn were to beat Bama by three touchdowns in T-town in 2014 (And no, I don't think for one second it will be a blow out like that. Just makin' my point about PA!). The next day on Aldeer, Phil Army would type: "Ya'll may have beaten us but one of your cheerleaders is ugly and has big feet!"

Phil, you make winnin' fun!!! smile

AU could be #1 and Bama could be 1-9 and it still wouldn't be a 3 touchdown game. AU on the other hand, 49-0.......36-0..... yea that happened

I can't wait. AU is taking the same approach as Texas A&M by putting all effort into offense and the defense will get worse each year. I can't wait! I can't wait to see Henry, Drake, and Yeldon slice it up just like FSU did and then also have the deep threat with Cooper and Howard. I can't wait!

I was misunderstood! I was just saying that it would not matter "if" AU beats UA by three (or four or five) touchdowns, Phil Army would still say something like: "Well... AU cheerleaders were ugly." or "Auburn's overrated!" or etc... something to that effect.

Do I think AU will beat UA by three touchdowns this year? I'm sorry to disappoint y'all but heck no; I don't think that. I think AU will win... but like I said in other postings... it's going to be a knock-down-drag-out close game.

Dont worry they wont be as good this year as they were last year.they lost alot of the key players that helped them have such a great season. and as far as a big three touchdown wins for aub the numbers dont support it as aub has beaten bama 10 times by 21 + points in 78 trys. bama has beaten aub 18 times by 21+ points in 78 trys. And if we want to cover shut outs then aub has 7 and bama has 16 so i dont think the numbers are on aub side there either. we could throw in the biggest win points wise which belongs to bama as well dec 4-1948 with a score of 55-0. Prob need to look at some past numbers before you think for a min that some beat down of bama in t-town is coming this year.

Again spy, RE-read my post. I do NOT think that AU will beat UA by three touchdowns. I was making a hypothetical point.

I don't care if it's one point or 100 points or 109 yard return or a 100 yard return... the W is what counts.

Who's the pronoun in "They" lost a lot of key players that helped them have such a great season." Is "they" Auburn?!?! Reason for me asking is the fact that it's hard for me to think you're talking about AU here. AU lost "two" key players: T. Mason and G. Robinson on offense. You certainly weren't talking about our defense as D wasn't our strongpoint last year but they persevered on plays where it mattered except the Natty.

Auburn's going to have a very very strong O. I think Bama's going to have a very strong D. It's going to be another great matchup.

Seemed pretty simple to me, Bucktrot. Not much you can do about it though.

The odds are stacked against Auburn this year when it comes to the Auburn/Alabama game. Gotta come to Bryant/Denny, Revenge factor heavy on Alabma's mind from game last year, Taditionally the most talented team wins the Iron Bowl and Alabama is without question the most talented team in this rivalry if not the country. The X factor for Auburn is Malzhan. He is a genius at play calling.

I would say chris davis was a big loss and helped the team win. not to hard to see they will miss some very good d lineman they lost like dee ford. i dont think people know how hard it will be to replace some of the players aub lost. look for aub to win around 9 games this year.

Yep, Chris Davis was good but actually, we're stacked in the DB area this year. Dee Ford was a great person as well as a great player. We're losing more on D than O. Offensively, Auburn should be VERY strong. We lost a full back, running back and a first round OL and that's it. On D, we lost several but we feel that we'll be fine on D as all LB & DL are back.

We may have to rely on our O for wins again. In 2010, we just outscored everybody we played. I mean that's always the case but literally, AU just lit up the scoreboard in most cases.

I think our D will be better this year than last and I am confident that our O will be mind-blowing. Coach Gus is an offensive genius and for the first time, he has a returning starting QB and MUCH further along than last year. Did you hear that Coach Gus only ran a limited percentage of his offense? It's so complicated and complex.

Why do some Bama fans call AU's O, a gimmick? Trickery? What was the Wishbone? Read options, right? That's how Bama won many of its NC under the Bear. AU is read option as well. It's just has a lot more sophisticated options and blocking schemes. And if you're on D and not in shape, you're going to pay!

Narrow Gap, I disagree that traditionally, the most talented teams always wins the IB. The most talented team didn't win it last year. Part of the history of the IB is the fact that the underdog has won a lot of the time. Does Bama have more talent than AU? Probably. Usually, it's the best coached team with the most luck.

I think Gus is a better coach than Nick. No doubt that Coach Nick is AUsome and has set the standard. I respect Coach Saban's philosophy which is hard for most ppl to understand and implement on a day-to-day basis in anything they might do. He's a winner. I just think Coach Malzahn is better all around and has a better staff. We'll see November 29, 2014.

War Damn!

Chris Davis will not be missed. He was a good player but outside of the return fg his legacy will be drowned in mediocrity.

Do you really think that a football game in 1948 has any deciding factors on a game in 2014? slap

I had much rather be tried by twelve than carried to my grave by six!!!!
