Got that transcript yet? Really interested to see how this plays out... NOPE... see below the email I received this afternoon from the court reporter: From: Sent: Thursday, April 10, 2014 3:33 PM To: Subject: Re: Copy of Transcript I'm sorry. We are in trials this week in another county. After payment is made, I will start on the transcript. I have several appeals I am working on that are coming due to the appeals court. It will be next month before I could get to it. But I will get you a price ASAP. Thanks for emailing.

Not much right now . Still trying to get copies of the transcripts. We are now being told it will be the END of next month before we can get it.
I am not familiar with the court system and this may be the norm, but it just seems like a long time for transcripts that according to the court reporter should only take an hour or so to transcribe.- 50 pages.
We are looking at pursuing this several different ways, and Unfortunantely, not being able to get a transcript is limiting our options .

50 pages isn't much of a transcript. My opening statements last 50 pages or more often. 50 pages is less than 15 minutes talking. My last trial transcript was 2700 pages. My last hearing transcript I ordered that lasted 2 hours was close to 200 pages.

As for the time, court reporters have to transcribe when they are not working, so it can take a while to get a transcript, proof it and get it out.

Thanks for the information. I know it doesn't sound like much, we were oly in the court room about and 1 hour to 1 1/2 hours.... I know all the charges are misdemeanors...BUT... It's principal.
These were just 3 boys, going to do what they were asked to do... And just because a Retired GW SAID he heard a gun shot ..these 3 boys now have 3 charges on their record.

if they were convicted of y.o. you can have the dept of justice remove charges IF they show up on there record.

No, that isn't correct. A state YO adjudication has nothing to do with the Department of Justice.

Im pretty sure it was the justice dept. Man, I am a criminal defense lawyer. I deal with this stuff everyday. The Department of Justice cannot remove a state court adjudication or conviction. The principal of dual sovereignty applies. The Federal Government can not remove a state conviction. But, I am sure you know more than me. So, sure you are right.

Now im sure you are good at what you do. I was just saying. there was some stuff on this guys record that shouldnt have been there and it was removed by the doj
