Well I went with a friend to his lease this morning. We were there last week and had one of the best gobbling mornings I've ever heard but couldn't seal the deal on one. We decided that we would get in there extra early this morning and get on either end of a big pine ridge that a big group of birds went down last week. Daylight finally get there and birds are gobbling everywhere. There is one gobbler about 120 yards straight in front of me but he finally flies down the other way and I couldn't turn him. After about 20 minutes two more birds that were on the other ridge gobbled right below me down the hill. A few cuts later and they were on the way. They hung up at about 100 yards strutting but their hen came right past me and down the other hill. After about 20 more minutes it was more than they could take. #3
