Turkey killing is a BLAST!!! Not much to this one....hunted with a buddy yesterday morning and we were listening to a bird gobble his head off about 350-400 yards away across a big hay field from 0600-645....at 645 I thought I heard a bird several hundred yards behind us in our wood lot so we eased down about 100 yards closer...we stopped to listen and sure enough he gobbled again about 200 yards away...we moved about 60 yards closer to get close to the top of the hill that he was on the other side of and he gobbled again about 100 yards away....we quickly sit down, my buddy purrs and I gave him a couple clucks and get my gun up and ready....30 seconds later, I had my boot on his head!! 19.5# 1 1/8 and 1 1/4 spurs 10 3/4 thick beard
