That's exactly why I keep going if there is a truck parked there. If there is 2000 acres behind a gate that leaves me 42000 other acres to choose from.

The only time I have ever parked in a spot with anther person he was there. After 30 seconds we knew we were going in opposite directions. If I had not seen him I would have left. It was my back up spot already.
There isnt a big enough turkey out there worth getting shot for. For me, its as simple as 'what would I like for someone else to do?'
My dang job gets in the way of my turkey hunting. If I could only hit the lotto I'd be good to go.

I don't care if it's a million acres most hunters don't walk that far. Some do but I try to think about all scenarios and what could happen. Even if a person wasn't on that bird at the time most likely the hunter would be in hearing distance and would be working his way back toward the bird. This could be very dangerous due to the other hunter coming from the opposite direction. They could end up facing each other and unaware of it. If I see a vehicle I don't even stop to listen. That's just the way I roll.

Screw that, 1000-2000 acres isn't anything. I've covered 17 miles in a day before, I probably average 6-10, and I can blow 1000 acres in 3 hours, don't come in on me, because I will cut you off from a bird if you were enough of a jerk to come in after me. Now if there's a bunch if land and someone pulls up and talks to me then that's completely different and I've met some great people doing this. Have some respect and môve to another spot.

I agree with this! I hope some of these guys are joking. If someone is at a gate with a bunch of property behind it, it's best to ask, or talk to them first. It's just flat out unsafe and unethical to just walk into a gobbling turkey you can hear from the gate where another truck is. Sounds like somebody should have gotten up earlier. If you don't want to or can't for whatever reason, I guess you need to get used to taking what's left! I'll run that sonofagun to the next county before I let somebody back door me, then we can chat about what just took place.
This is Aldeer! The place people come to vent their frustrations and completely change their stance a few minutes later...
