I've had BFG AT (31's) on my Jeep and they sucked in the rain. I've had two sets of BFG Mud Terrains (33's)(the originals and the KM2's). They were both ok in the rain and dang good in the mud. I just bought a seat of Goodyear Duratrac 33x12.5-15 and so far they are the best riding tire I've owned. I can't speak for tread life as of yet, but they look good and drive very well.
X2 Goodyear duratracs, I've got over 40,000 on mine and still got lots of life left and they've performed well on the hunting club muddy roads
