Buckbrush is correct as he didn't mess the bird up as a crazy pit bull did. And i stated that i was thankful that you left. But Just think, I didn't know you at all and there a lots of idiots out in the woods. After you did walk away I wasn't sure whether you didn't circle around back to the trucks in which the turkey was headed last i heard. My strategy prior to you calling was to ease back toward the truck once the bird hit the ground cause i figured he would head to thos thinned pines. As i mentioned in my PM we had slipped in close enough that i actually seen the turkey in the roost. As open as those woods are right now if u can see a turkey he will see you!! Hence thats why we weren't calling because we couldn't move to a proper set up to call. but planned to when he flew down. But you had called from behind us and we were also thinking now that he might come that way once he hit the ground. I heard a crazy sound as we began walking towards the turkey once he flew down. As we crested the little ridge where we could see where the turkey should have been we stood there a few mins and thats when the crazy dog ran by us. While we were easing through the woods all i could think was "that guy didn't care we were parked here so he may have just went back to the road and cut down to the turkey". Made me feel uncomfrtable safety wise, as stated I didn't know you. And safety is my first priority. I hope you can see from my point why it made me uncomfortable and through the opionions of all the other guys that post you can see how people feel about pulling up beside someone and going in. yea you mention you thought i couldn of been in the back. But you know that was the only turkey that was in there gobbling so odds are that is where the other hunter will be. Like i said buckbrush this has made me be more aware and i hope you understand why just mainly as safety issues. I still look forward to meeting you and hope we maybe can meet up there and plan a safe hunt and as you stated possibly a doulbe would be nice. Cause in my eyes I'd rather have lots more friends than enemies this day and time.

Buckbrush, will you bust in on me sometime so I can hunt with you too? We can hit a hunt together I actually got some access to a little bit of land in Madison. I just enjoy getting out there and hunting I don't care if I get one or not. Turkey hunting is unique you ain't got to be the trigger man to have a successful hunt. In fact me and n2deer smoked one this morning. He pulled the trigger but i enjoyed it just as much.

No this wasn't a Bankhead head bird but we did walk about a mile to get to him.

There wasn't nearly enough trucks today in bankhead so we drove around till we could find a few. This one from yesterday may or may not have been in the said location.
