Who, at the bank, who handle that kind of stuff? Obviously a teller wouldn't.


Go to the banks website and there will probably be a link to repossessed land and foreclosures that they have. Failing that, talk to the branch manager of the bank.

Also, look for foreclosures. You can get a heck of a deal on a house with land. In 2005, we got our house/land as a foreclosure (only 8 acres, but there's absolutely nothing (no neighbors, subdivisions, etc behind my land). 2800 sq ft house built in 2002 with the 8 acres for $170000. Appraisal came in at $325000 and when we refinanced a few years ago, the appraisal came back at $335000. We couldn't have bought a piece of property in the area we live and built on it for less than $250000
