I bought a new F150 in November and put a 2.5" Rough Country Leveling Kit on in December. At the same time, I also changed the tires to 35" Toyo AT's. I can't tell any difference in the ride.
FWIW, I also bought the Rough Country hidden winch mount and added a Warn M9000.
