What is even more amazing is that TC actually put him on a fish. I hope Jsh1904 is within sight of you or things might get ugly.

Good luck and hope you all get your limit.

If he would have missed fishing for a bridal shower I would have had to write him off.I've been to three goat screwings and a county a fair and I haven't seen a man do anything like that.

Hell I didn't go I Whitney's grandmaws funeral because I was going fishing.

We will burn that bridge when we get there

Heck I didn't even go to my own wife's bridal shower, when we got married, to help load up gifts, because I had gone fishing that day. I had promised to be back by such and such time to help out. But, any man knows that such a "promise" is really more of a "I'll consider it", IF the fish aren't biting and IF it starts raining and IF the boat won't crank when I unload it, etc...

That was me, too. Heck, after ten years, it still means the same thing. (with anything I am doing)

wife- Please be in at "x" o'clock.
me- sure, babe.
wife- I mean it this time. I need you home at "x".
me- gotcha (as I'm trying to make my escape out the door.)
wife- SERIOUSLY!!!! I MEAN IT!!!
me - Aye, be in by "x" o'clock, aye.
wife- Ok, sweetie. Have fun and good luck.

Fast forward to several hours after "x" o'clock when I finally get in:

wife- YOU SAID YOU'D BE IN AT "X"!!!!!!
me- Sorry babe, lost track of time...
wife- HOW DOES THE MAN THAT I HAVE SEEN LOOK AT THE SKY AND BE WITHIN FIVE MINUTES OF THE ACTUAL TIME LOSE TRACK OF TIME!!!
me- Well, your incessant texting kept me from looking up, so I lost track of time.
wife- WHATEVER!!!! What do you want for supper?
me- I dunno. Hand me a beer, willya please?

I may have. He's a little more loving than Brent Sr is. Of course Brent Sr may be playing the tough love card to.
