I keep 6 Bushnell TrophyCam's out all the time. They changed manufacturer's in 2010 I believe, and had a lot of QC problems. The next year, they changed again. (May have gone back to previous manufacturer. Don't remember.) I had several of the 2010's and ended up throwing them away.

The ones I'm running now are from 2011. They are P/# 114956C and they have performed perfectly.

Concerning Moultries: I've thrown several of their old camera's away. Ever so often I test them just to try to find a camera cheaper than the Bushnell, but with the same quality. When having the problems with the 2010 T/C's, I bought 4 M-80's. Within a year, three had failed. Last week, I ordered 4 M-880's from Amazon. I'll put them in the woods this weekend to see how they do.

I have, of all things, a Tasco, and it is pretty awesome. $50
Most laugh and question it, but it's my best one.

I have 4 moultries and 2 primos truth cams. I have to tell you...those moultries are a good camera for the price. Great flash and battery life

Coverts are the best camera for the money and you can not beat their customer service.

I stopped selling all other brands after I starting using coverts.

Agreed.

To me, there is no doubt that the Covert Black Flash is BY FAR the best camera on the market for the money. You can get them for close to 100 bucks and they flat out perform with amazing battery life.

For overall reliability and peace of mind where cost is not a factor, Reconyx is the clear leader.

Just got a new Moultrie Blackout 990i in January. It's a nice camera.

I have many Moultrie cameras most are I40s and I35s. I'm not real impressed as most only last for a year and the display goes out, or they start draining batteries to where they only last for 3 days on new batteries.

I have 30-35 Moultrie cameras, and can fix the displays almost blindfolded on the I40s.

Customer service has been good to the most extent, but the longevity of the products I have used so far has been disappointing. I'm not sure which brand of cameras I am going to replace the 10 or so ones which are not working.

I do like being able to go and see the people in person at Alabaster though, for parts and repairs.

God Bless,
David B.

The cheap Browning cameras are pretty good. They are nothing but a Moultrie. Two guys left Moultrie and started Browning.

I have four Covert Red 40's and they are hands down the best camera I've ever owned. The M-80's were on top until I started using the Covert cams. Night time picts are a bit better than the Moultrie, but daytime pics... it's flat out amazing the detail they get. In fact, I have two M-80's that I'm probably going to be selling soon so I can get another Covert. smile
