There should be no 2 yr olds killed, since they are pretty dumb. No one wants to shoot a 2 yr old basket 8, I think the same standards should apply starting March 15.  This rule does not apply to PoorCountryPreacher, as he is a man of the cloth, children under 16 or first time hunters.

I am having a hard time getting through to my 8yr old son that we don't trophy hunt turkey. he has had that beat into him in the deer woods but having a hard time grasping the fact that we don't size up the birds like we do deer. He will learn.

2yr old bucks chase does just like big boys. Trigger restraint is the key here fellas. Can't have 12 inch beards and 1 15/16 spurs if you shoot all the 2 yr olds.
I also think 2 yr olds should be disqualified from the Team contest.

If y'all were good you could call them up close enough to look at their spurs. Buncha so called "hunters" shooting 50 yard guns.

I was a chaplain in my fraternity for a semester while in college, can I have immunity too?

What about culls what do you constitute as a cull 2 year old? I will be the first to jump on the band wagon if I can shoot all y'all's culls my definition though.

Some of the heaviest ones I've ever killed were 2 yr olds with 10"+ beards. I guess you could take your binos and carefully study the spurs before shooting, but even then you'd probably make some mistakes. But I think all you guys should do this.

Unfortunately I, like yekrut, also suffer from "like to watch em flop ". The only difference I can tell about a well put together 2 yr old is his eagerness to die! If I could kill only one 180 inch Alabama deer a year I would be great, but I would take 5 two year old turkeys over one 28lb, two inch spur, 14 inch beard turkey a year any day.
