Been down that road myself. I can tell you that not seeing my kids every morning and night never gets ok. I have a great relationship with my ex wife and my kids. Im involved in almost every minute of their lives. But it still isn't enough for me. Do not let her start to dictate how and when you see them, ever. They want and need you and often you will need to be THEIR voice in making sure she never forgets that. BOTH of you go to their school functions, their sporting events, ballet....whatever. And sit together if you can do it. Good luck brother and it does get better. If there is one piece of advice I could give you its this.....
The kids need both of you to act like adults and let them be kids!! Don't make them grow up to fast because of this. Talking about sporting events. My daughter plays youth basketball. My wife works evenin shift and has her off days mostly during the week. She can get off on some weekends, but not all of them. I've been the one at all her ball games. My wife finally got off to see our daughter play the Saturday before last. She was off this past weekend and missed our daughter's game because she made plans to help a friend. My daughter was upset to say the least. I told my daughter to not worry about it. I was there with her like I've always been. Shane

I know we pick at each other on here and make jokes but some of you need to understand that this man is going through some tuff times that involve his children and yall are making JOKES about it.
