I didn't know what TSS was until today, but after reading up on it today I'm interested. My dad reloads all of my shotshells. My question is what would I need to load it if I'm already set up to load shotshells? I've seen you guys talk about drills and roll crimpers, will I need them if I already have a press?

No you can just use a press. Just contact Hawglips and he will sell you the shot and give you the load recipes.

I'm not sure hal has any 3.5 loads.
But I know theres a few out there.

I've got one 3.5" 2-1/2 oz load. But pound for pound you're better off with a 3", IMO.

I have a 3.5" 2 oz load at 1250 that I made from Hal's first 3" recipe. I added cushion and sped it up, foolishly thinking that was necessary to make it really effective. Its not.
Now Hal has a 3" recipe that is better than my 3.5"; same amount of shot and even more velocity from a 3" hull.
I have often argued for the advantage of the 3.5" hull in the lead days, and still would, but with tss the shell length makes no difference. I still use my 3.5" recipe in the 12 gauge simply because I have a bunch of components for that load and I suspect they will outlast me.
All the labor of man is for his mouth, and yet the appetite is not filled.
