Sounds like Straycat has experience. Family reunions are a lot easier when every bodies within holerin distance. I was doing genealogy on my mom's parents. Dang if my great-great grandfather (Carthage, MS/Leake Co.) on my mother's side didn't get married into to my wife's great-great grandmother's family (great-great aunt I think) down in Laurel, MS area (Jones Co.) right after the War Betwixt the States. We are removed way more than 5 times, so tis all legal in all states and no Cyclopes childrens.

I think a lot of marring half siblings is a big part of it. It doesn't make them unable to function, they just have the look to them.Kentucky and West Virginia is hands down the worst I've seen.

Was up in West Virginia and Kentucky last year on business. Spent some time around Harland, ky and that was the poorest place I have ever been to, in the US. No offense, in case anyone is from that area, but those were the ugliest people I've ever seen. And a bunch had the tell tell signs of inbreeding. Oe day we stopped at a place to eat and the folks that came in behind us, looked like a family of 6, could not read the menu. None of the family!! It is a truly sad area.

There are some folks up north on Sand Mountain that look straight out of Deliverance. Every inbred person I've ever seen looked the same, they had pale white skin and dark hair, eyes too close together and something funny looking about their mouth.
There's a family that lives up the country from here. They do farm work for several folks up that way. They moved in from Arkansas. One of them WALKED here from Arkansas. Word on the skreet is that they are linebred and looking at them I don't doubt it. They all have the strength of two normal men. You can barely understand a word they say. They got the eyes too close together thing going on too.
So, in summary. If you see a person with pale white skin, black hair, can't fit a nickel between their eyes, and a funny looking little mouth..... Linebred
If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and will heal their land. 2 Chronicles 7:14
