Amen to that! Best post of the year!

- That the pain, agony, sweat, money, and time spent putting in food plots in September pays off.

- That taking my daughters (ages 6 and 8) hunting and watching their reaction to taking a doe and 6 pointer (two different hunts) is a truely wonderful feeling.

- That somewill will actually walk over a half a mile up a mountain and steal my stick ladder and Millenium stand reciever

- That it is an obsolute blast to watch a good buck chase a doe in the snow and finally get to give him a ride to my house in the truck bed.

- That even though I took off work and went to Illinois the second week of November and only brought back a doe, it was worth it to get to spend a week hanging out with friends.

- That we should all cherish the time we get to spend in God's great outdoors!

- I'm looking forward to 11'-12'

I have learned that in even the worst weather, deer are like every thing else, they gonna eat.

that my son can shoot a 30/30 pretty dog gone well..
and id rather hunt with him anyday.

that my wife still don't care nutin about going even in nice warm weather like she said she would..

what i learned in 10/11 season.
1. time spent in the woods with my dad will be memories i will never forget and i never thought he would ever kill a good buck cause he dont do anything by the book but of course this year he killed one bigger than any deer i have ever killed.
2. expirencing him kill his buck was way more exciting than any deer i have ever killed.
3. the outdoors a one of gods gifts we should thank him for everyday, because there is nothing else like it in the world

I learned that, these days ,I'm a lot less willing to put all of the effort in that it takes to consistently kill mature bucks. Shooting houses and ladder stands are looking better Every year.
