Larry's in Huntsville does't have good deals on safes anymore? He use to carry some that were about comparable to what you'd see with the Cannon Safes at TSC or Academy Sports. Heavy enough w/ internal hinges.
Protection wise... if they come equiped to get in it... the glossy paint job and extra $1k you paid Marks isn't gonna make a one bit of difference.
No government employees were harmed in the making of this mess.

I looked all around and bought a larger heavier safe at Southland for the same price as the smaller safe's elsewhere.
Whatever you do, buy a taller safe so you have storage at the top,even with longer shotguns.

Got a winchester safe at Tractor Supply. It's a push button and works great.
